Did you want to ask about a crooked jaw or have you heard about teeth straightening for adults and are you curious to learn about the teeth straightening process.
In the initial examination we will examine your face, your profile and of course your teeth. This is a careful examination followed by a discussion of the recommended options for treatment. There are cases where we will recommend brackets on the teeth (“cubes”) and in other cases we will recommend using a transparent aligner. In any case, Dr. Strauss will accurately assess your situation and will recommend the desired treatment accordingly.
On the first visit, we will ask the team to photograph your face from different angles. We will take x-rays in our institute to assess the condition of the bone and investigate the relationship between your teeth and the soft tissues such as the cheek and lips.
Using a digital scanner, we will go through all the structures inside the mouth and transfer the resulting image to a computerized format.
Before straightening the smile and entering the orthodontic process, we will check the condition of the gums. Any shift requires a stable infrastructure that will withstand changes. If you are interested in quick teeth straightening, or if it is a complex process, gums should be healthy. In addition, calculus must be removed at the dentist and the teeth will also be checked for caries level
