Dr. Strauss, a pleasure to meet you
Dr. Strauss has been a specialist in orthodontics since 1981. He received his BDS (Rand) degree in dentistry from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa where he received the John Randall special award for his “academic and all round achievements.”
He received the degree of Orthodontist at Tel Aviv University in 1974 and in the same year joined the staff of the Department of Orthodontics as a lecturer and clinical instructor. Dr. Strauss lectures in a course that teaches interns about self-ligation. Moreover, as a member of the Scientific Council of the Israel Dental Association, Dr. Strauss examines interns in the final exams to obtain an expert degree in the specialty of orthodontics.
Dr. Strauss is a member of the International Federation of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
His is prominently active in the Israeli Association of Orthodontics in the administrative and organizational field. He has lectured at international conferences and symposia, published articles in international scientific journals and even invented and developed a registered and recognized orthodontic patent in Israel and abroad.
